A HEALTHY REMINDER; a quick rundown of some skin saviors

After getting certified as a nutritional therapy practitioner, skin became a much clearer roadmap for me to help support my clients feel better fully - not just for a clear complexion. So I figured I’d share a few things;

👉🏻 Dehydration is something we almost all chronically face. Getting trace minerals into your daily water intake AS WELL as watching food and drinks that can be dehydrating makes a big shift in our overall health and skin radiance. Plus they serve as nerve conductors and are often the cofactor to vitamins necessary for proper immune support.

👉🏻 Omegas are often overlooked in our diets and supplementation. But did you know healthy fats are essential for heart health as they help your blood ability to flow through your veins?! They are also essential for reducing inflammation which is the root of most skin health conditions.

👉🏻 Skin is an organ that is a part of our immune system so it’s important we listen when it speaks up. Dysfunctional digestion, detoxification, and blood sugar regulation can all impact the immune system overtime. But unfortunately fancy skincare can’t compete with the autonomic nervous system in order to help support deeper healing.

More so, our skincare is an opportunity to create healthy habits that allow us to nourish ourselves as well as create the daily check in on how we’re doing. Breathe deeply and relax your shoulders. Take the time to get to know your skin.

And if you need help, I’ll be offering in person treatments soon. Otherwise, check out the link in bio for virtual offerings!
