IT'S OFFICIAL! Facials are coming to Dallas in April

It’s official - I’m going to be offering facials in Dallas (highland park) Saturdays and Sundays starting in April.

I waited a really long time to decide whether or not I was going to give facials again.

After my first relocation of the pandemic in June 2020, it was clear that starting a new business with new people in a new environment was the recipe for my body’s official breakdown. I needed to step back and really dive deep into recovery after my endometriosis surgery as well as try to unlearn a lot of habits I had acquired as a business owner, esthetician, and plain old human being. So that’s what I did this last year.

I dove into nutrition school. I started therapy and consistent acupuncture care. I got quiet on social media other than a few updates here and there. The world was changing rapidly and at the time, the idea of touching another face felt really scary.

There wasn’t a lot of momentum for me to work in Dallas when I moved here last March. I was recovering, then got pregnant where I was very sick, then miscarried, then another surgery, then another move, then another miscarriage - it was no joke. Instead, I worked with clients online and somehow graduated from a year long nutrition program. I also started working closely with two of my favorite skincare companies, Apoterra Skincare and Osea. I got to make content, write, and take things a bit slower. My heart was still grieving all the losses like my pregnancies and missing my home in LA.

I just started to accept how I was unofficially retired as an esthetician until an opportunity presented itself. My acupuncturist Emily asked me if I’d be interested in renting a space in a new office alongside other practitioners in April. My heart suddenly flickered and suddenly I was excited in a way that I hadn’t been since I was in LA. From that suggestion on, the flow of ease that has unfolded has really awakened a desire in me to connect with people in person again.

I’m never going to be able to replicate the magic that was my time in LA - working out of my little Beachwood Canyon space. It was a dream come true in more ways than I thought I could dream. However, I also have always dreamed of sharing space with like-minded practitioners who can all contribute to healing our collective. I’ll be sharing space with the following individuals:

Dr. Brianne Katz of Uprise Chiropractic

Lisa A. Blount LMT of Zephir Body and Mind

Emily Guevara of Acupuncture Junction

Dr. Becky Allen PT, DPT Genesis PT Wellness

Meagan Parks LPC, RPT Navy and Dot family counseling

I’d love to see you there but if you’re not in Dallas, that’s okay - I still offer esthetician mentoring, nutritional counseling, and virtual skin care coaching. Just email me at hayley@therapeuticskincoach.com to set yourself up with support.

My facials will include a customized approach to holistic care. All of which will be pregnancy safe and safe for those with endocrine issues, autoimmune disease, and chronic disorders. I’ll be using plant and algae-based skincare Apoterra, Laurel, and Osea products (I’ll most likely introduce more later on as well). The treatments will be a mix of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, facial sculpting, buccal intra-oral massage, cranial sacral therapy, gua sha, Reiki, and facial reflexology. Just think of it as a reset for the skin and nervous system - great for the chronically inflamed and those with burnt out energy.

If you would have asked me a year ago about giving facials again, it would have felt like I was drowning. But now, I feel like my soul has been recharged and is finally inspired again. I’m so grateful to be here now and hopefully to be meeting with you soon!
