Rather than chasing trends or promising overnight results, this approach focuses on building sustainable, personalized rituals that support the skin’s natural rhythm and radiance.

Therapeutic Skin Coach was founded to help shift the conversation around skincare—from one of control and perfectionism to one of connection and compassion. What began as 1:1 facials has evolved into a multifaceted platform offering virtual consultations, online courses, eBooks, and education that is accessible and inclusive to all.

Founder Hayley Wood has spent years refining her skills to ensure every treatment and resource offered leaves clients feeling luxuriously relaxed, deeply connected to their own beauty rituals, and radiantly glowing—exactly as they deserve to be.

What sets Therapeutic Skin Coach apart is an in-depth consultation process and thorough health history analysis designed to understand the full picture of each client’s skin journey. The team is committed to ongoing, thoughtful communication—checking in regularly to understand what clients are using, how their skin is responding, and what support is needed through various life stages. From navigating hormonal imbalances to adjusting to major dietary changes, Therapeutic Skin Coach offers consistent guidance and education to help every individual become the expert of their own skin.

Education is foundational to the TSC approach, and every treatment reflects that commitment to empowerment and holistic care.

All facials are fully customized, drawing from a range of holistic modalities, including:

• Manual Lymphatic Drainage, a gentle and deeply calming method used in nearly every treatment (unless contraindicated), to support detoxification and circulation.

• Facial Gua Sha, inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and adapted by Dr. Ping Zhang, is used to restore vitality, encourage healthy qi flow, and promote long-lasting radiance without invasive procedures.

• Facial Sculpting Massage, including buccal massage, targets facial tension, especially in the jaw, to release emotional stress and support muscle tone. This transformative technique, developed by Yakov Gershkovich, offers a natural lifting effect and deep relaxation.

Each offering is an intentional experience designed to reconnect clients to their skin, support true skin health, and leave them feeling nurtured from the inside out.

At Therapeutic Skin Coach, every product used is chosen with intention. The team is deeply committed to maintaining an environment that is both non-toxic and low-waste, prioritizing ingredients and formulations that are safe for the Earth and the body. As a values-driven practice rooted in environmentalism, sustainability and transparency are non-negotiable.

Facial treatments primarily feature products from Apoterra, Laurel, SIV, and OSEA. These brands are selected for their integrity, quality, and alignment with TSC’s holistic philosophy. However, the team doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Home care recommendations are always personalized—tailored to individual needs, whether that means sourcing products with better accessibility, greater sustainability, or specific ingredient profiles.

The goal is always the same: to help each client craft a long-term skincare ritual that deepens their connection to their skin and supports their self-care in a meaningful, lasting way.

Hayley Wood is a licensed esthetician, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, facial reflexologist, Reiki practitioner, and writer/educator in the state of Texas. Previously been licensed in California, Wisconsin and Oregon.
